Dear Parents,

At our center, we believe that meaningful learning is achieved through focus, engagement, and thoughtful participation. To ensure that each child receives comprehensive guidance and high-quality instruction, we provide small-group sessions. This approach creates an effective learning environment where students can gain meaningful knowledge and develop lasting skills.

While our programs are designed to support a mixed-age community of learners, every child benefits from a personalized plan tailored to their unique strengths, interests, and learning styles. This individualized approach allows us to meet students where they are and help them achieve their fullest potential.

In addition to our regular schedule, we are open on Saturdays to provide supplemental support for students who may require additional assistance, as well as for those who wish to take advantage of the flexibility to learn at their own pace and convenience.

During the summer, we enrich students’ educational experiences through engaging activities in Reading (Book Club), Arts, Music, and Physical Education. We also offer advanced coursework in Science, Mathematics, Language Arts, and Social Studies to equip students with the knowledge and confidence needed for success in the upcoming school year.

Subjects

  • Language Arts - Listening & Speaking

We are happy to help your child develop foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and visual literacy, which are essential for their academic success and lifelong learning.

We will also help them build strong language arts skills and provide them with engaging activities that will help them enrich good comprehension and writing skills.

  • Language Arts - Reading

Reading plays a vital role in the learning process of your child. Early Ivy Tutoring is here to help improve students’ word literacy, strengthen their memory, and critical thinking.

We also guide them to expand their vocabulary skills and to improve their ability to communicate effectively in both writing and speech.

Your child will be given daily vocabulary and reading practice using books and online reading activities to build high-level reading comprehension skills.

  • Language Arts - Writing & Handwriting

We also cover grammar, spelling, mechanics, and basic composition writing to help them express themselves with clear articulation of thoughts.

  • Mathematics

Math is crucial in our future careers and daily lives. Early Ivy Tutoring is designed to provide a good foundation that your child may use in other subject areas, including science, music, social studies, and even art.

In our center, your child will be taught and engaged in interactive activities, which can help them succeed in math. By giving them opportunities to master all the basic skills/concepts, your child can improve their critical thinking skills. We also encourage them to solve math word problems to develop real-world skills.

  • Science

Science helps children understand the world around them. We believe that helping your children be exposed to science at an early age will help them develop creativity, resourcefulness, and critical thinking skills.

At Early Ivy Tutoring, we provide firsthand activities/group projects that will help them understand scientific concepts/ methods, which later will help them appreciate the natural world and lead them to lifelong benefits.

  • Social Studies

Teaching social studies will equip young children with knowledge, skills, and values needed to become informed, engaged, and responsible citizens in a diverse, democratic society and interdependent world.

Early Ivy Tutoring provides activities that will help increase your child’s knowledge about their family, community, state, country, and the world.
